    The Greenville Zoo has planned a farewell ceremony for one of three Bornean orangutans that will be leaving the Upstate next week. Bob is scheduled to leave December 3 for a new home at the Oregon Zoo in Portland. The Greenville Zoo will hold a farewell celebration for Bob on November 29 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. near the Orangutan Exhibit.

    A home fire in Anderson County left one person injured Monday.Firefighters were called to the mobile home on Christopher Drive around 2:30 p.m.When they got there, they found a man who lived at the home with burns and possibly other injuries. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.The home was destroyed by the time firefighters were able to get the fire under control.One firefighter was also taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.The cause of the fire is under investigation.
