    A missing hiker has been located at Table Rock Park after 13 hours of searching overnight Saturday into Sunday morning. The Pickens County Director of Emergency Management Chuck Haynes described the lost hiker as a man in his mid to early 20s who unknowingly wandered off the trail. Haynes stated that the hiker hit the trails about 1:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon but did not return that afternoon, so around 7:30 p.m. a search and rescue party consisting of about 30 people.

    A teenage female was pronounced dead late Friday night after a single car crash in Greenwood County. According to the SC Highway Patrol Adrian Rae Summer, 17 of Greenwood was pronounced dead due to blunt force trauma at the scene of the wreck. The report states that Summer was headed north on Highway 67 when her car ran off the road and struck a tree. The victim was wearing her seatbelt and was entrapped when officials arrived to the scene.

According to the SC Highway Patrol Adrian Rae Summer, 17 of Greenwood was pronounced dead due to blunt force trauma at the scene of the wreck. The report states that Summer was headed north on Highway 67 when her car ran off the road and struck a tree. The victim was wearing her seatbelt and was entrapped when officials arrived to the scene.
