    The Anderson County Sheriff's Department is investigating a fatal shooting at the Andrews Nightclub which happened early Saturday. According to the report, officers were called to 3442 Cinema Center Blvd. around 4:35 a.m. after a fight broke out in the parking lot. Several people were reportedly involved in the fight says Lt. Cole of the Sheriff's Department, and the result was one person dead with a second transported by EMS to AnMed for a non-life-threatening head injury.

    The SC Highway Patrol is investigating a single car fatal collision near the Union County line Saturday. According to reports, the driver ran off the right side of the road while driving on SC 105, hit a sign, over corrected to the left and ended up at the bottom of an embankment. The driver was seatbelted and was pronounced dead at the scene. No identification has been released.

    The Oconee County Coroner's Office and SC Highway Patrol are investigating the death of a pedestrian who was struck by at least one vehicle Saturday morning. According to the report by Coroner Karl Addis, a person was found dead on the shoulder of the road on I-85 at the entrance to the SC Welcome Center in Fair Play. Addis says that the body was found just after 10 a.m., but the incident that caused the death is believed to have happened earlier in the morning.

    The SC Department of Health and Environmental Control released a report Friday afternoon which gave an updated account of the Greenwood E. coli exposure that occurred earlier this month. According to the report, DHEC has confirmed 11 cases of Shiga Toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) in Greenwood County. These cases include both attendants of The Learning Vine childcare facility and their family members.
