GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. -

A man is under arrest after Greenville County Sheriff's deputies say he robbed a Dollar General Sunday night.

James Bailey faces numerous charges after investigators say he held up the store at 114 Poinsett Highway around 9:30 a.m.

Bailey ran out of the back of the store when deputies arrived at the scene according to a report by the sheriff's office. He was caught after a short chase.

We're told Bailey held an employee at knife point during the robbery and caused a small laceration on the victim which is not life threatening.

Bailey is charged with Resisting Arrest, Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime, Attempted Murder, Armed Robbery and three counts of Kidnapping.

He's being held at the Greenville County Detention Center.
